Summit is the current "Star" in the household. She went to her first all-breed puppy match at 3 1/2 months old and came home with Best In Match! She finished easily from the BBE class with 2 supported entry majors, one as a 7mo old puppy! Her wins include BOB over specials while being very sporadically shown, sharing handling time with her 2 sisters. She won 1st place in the Senior Bitch class of the 2009 Eastern Futurity, breeder-owner handled. She and her granddam, Edge, showed as a pair in the first ever Breeder's Showcase at the Santa Barbara KC show in 8/09 and earned a Sporting Group Award of Merit....from an entry of over 30 sporting breed pairs. She won Best of Breed BBE at the 2009 Eukanuba National Championships, and can be seen competing in those groups from the AKC website. She is specialing in 2010, having taken BOB over several Top Ranked Weim Specials so far, and is making the grade in tough So Cal Sporting Groups. And, she isn't just pretty. She also has earned 2 Field Trial pts, and will be making it a long term goal to finish her DC title. She has her NRD, with the best ''dock dog" water entry for the day! She has also earned her JH, and will be taking a break for puppies sometime in early 2011. Summit has outstanding angulation and forechest, with excellent neck and bone. She has a beautiful head, clean movement and a great show attitude. She is extremely birdy with lots of drive, a strong nose and a big run. |
